Ingredients

  • 2 large frozen bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or coconut cream
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add frozen banana slices, cocoa powder, sweetener, yogurt (or coconut cream), vanilla, and salt to a blender.
  2. Pour in the milk and blend on low to start, gradually increasing to high speed.
  3. Add ice cubes and blend again until thick, smooth, and creamy.
  4. Adjust sweetness or thickness as desired by adding more milk or sweetener.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Optionally, top with whipped coconut cream or shaved dark chocolate.

Notes
